Next, enterprise architects may select relevant integration use cases patterns (see figure 3). Use case patterns are technology agnostic and can be mapped to particular integration technologies. For this purpose, the ISA-M template provides a library of use case pattern definitions which are grouped along integration styles. Integration styles cover key integration archetypes such as process-, data-, user- and thing integration. Use case patterns which cannot be mapped to a single integration style are classified as cross use cases. An example of a cross use case is Event Based Integration which can for instance be applied along process and thing integration scenarios: For the first one business events allow a loosely coupled integration of business applications by applying an event driven architecture with publish & subscribe model for distributing events. In case of thing integration use cases large volumes of notification events from physical devices are typically issued and processed. Customers and partners can extend the pre-delivered catalog of integration use case patterns by adding custom ones as needed.
The catalog of integration use case patterns has been updated by introducing some emerging patterns and discontinuing a few ones. The following tables summarize the changes of the patterns per integration style and cross use cases.
Once the design of the hybrid integration platform has been completed, integration best practices are defined in order to safeguard the implementation of integration scenarios. This allows a proper handover of integration requirements towards internal or external integration developers and can set the scope for quality assurance of implemented integration scenarios. For this purpose, enterprise architects can create architecture blueprints for the relevant integration use case patterns (incl. integration domains) for the hybrid integration platform. These blueprints describe and document the scope and the interaction of integration technologies with business applications.
A new section for defining integration best practices has been introduced to the ISA-M template with version 3.3. Architecture blueprint samples are provided which illustrate the use and orchestration of SAP integration technologies along SAP and Non-SAP business applications. The blueprints are defined on the level of integration use case patterns in combination with respective integration domains (such as Mobile Integration for User2OnPremise). Figure 6 shows the architecture blueprint sample of the cross use case pattern Digital Integration Hub (Cloud to On Premise and Cloud):
Flask uses a concept of blueprints for making application components andsupporting common patterns within an application or across applications.Blueprints can greatly simplify how large applications work and provide acentral means for Flask extensions to register operations on applications.A Blueprint object works similarly to a Flaskapplication object, but it is not actually an application. Rather it is ablueprint of how to construct or extend an application.
Each integration style can be refined by use case patterns that describe typical integration use cases in enterprise landscapes. Cross use case patterns encompass all integration-related use cases that complement one or more of the four core integration styles. For example, the API-managed integration pattern provides full lifecycle management for application programming interfaces (APIs) that can be leveraged in user- or process-centric integration scenarios, for instance. All integration styles and use case patterns are technology agnostic and are applicable within multiple integration domains, such as in the cloud, on premise, or in hybrid scenarios.
Based on the design of the hybrid integration platform, enterprise architects can attach blueprints to selected use case patterns that outline the involved components and their interactions. These architecture blueprints can then be used by project teams for consistent implementation and documentation of integration scenarios.
Databricks is excited to introduce a new set of automation templates to deploy a data lakehouse, specifically defined for Financial Services (FS). Lakehouse for FS Blueprints is a set of Terraform templates, specific to Financial Services , that incorporates best practices and patterns from over 600 FS customers. It is tailored for key security and compliance policies and provides FS-specific libraries as quickstarts for key use cases, including Regulatory Reporting and Post-Trade Analytics. You can now be up and running in a matter of minutes vs. weeks or months. All of this work builds upon the widely adopted Databricks Terraform provider, which is deployed at 1,000+ Databricks customers as of this writing.
Preconfigured clusters simplify and accelerate the deployment of core FS use cases to allow you and your business stakeholders to get to value faster. These libraries reduce your time spent in a variety of areas including data engineering, schema development, and model development. To address even more use cases, check out all of the Databricks Solution Accelerators, where you can easily download and import into your workspace.
This release, now available for download includes:- Design Pattern Reference (for six core OO-patterns viz. Abstract Factory Pattern, Adapter Pattern, Command Pattern, Singleton Pattern, Façade Pattern, Visitor Pattern)- Easy, drag-and-drop Java Reverse Engineering capability- Copy/Paste Diagram option- Support for External Types (Java): enables referencing third-party and framework types- Sequence Diagram enhancements for improved usability and flexibility- Auto arrange/layout support in multiple diagrams- Various usability enhancements
While asymmetry creates a more free-flowing, fun look, symmetry can be used in geometric patterns to create something more elegant. ICP showcases this perfectly, especially on the cover, where the top half of the image perfectly mirrors the bottom. 153554b96e
